  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (170°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil and lightly grease it.
  2. Melt unsalted butter and dark chocolate together over low heat until smooth. Stir in granulated sugar and add eggs one at a time.
  3. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, spices, and cornstarch until smooth.
  5. Layer half of the brownie batter in the pan, followed by the pumpkin mixture, then spoon dollops of remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently.
  6. Bake for about 50 minutes until set in the center.
