Ingredients
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 10 slices Turkey Bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and coat an 8×8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar and butter until smooth. Mix in peanut butter, egg, and vanilla.
- Gradually add flour, baking soda, and salt until combined. Fold in half of the crumbled turkey bacon and chopped peanuts.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top; return to the oven for 1 minute to melt the chips. Spread melted chocolate evenly and top with remaining turkey bacon and peanuts.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
