  • 2 pounds ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup beef broth or milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 23 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • 23 tablespoons light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a loaf pan with aluminum foil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground meat, panko breadcrumbs, broth, eggs, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape in the prepared pan.
  4. Blend ketchup and brown sugar for the glaze and pour over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches at least 160°F (71°C). Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
