  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 oz cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 to 2 jalapeño peppers, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon finely minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 to 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: lettuce wraps for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheese filling by mixing softened cream cheese, grated cheddar, minced jalapeños, and garlic in a bowl until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, combine ground turkey, almond flour, minced onion, salt, black pepper, and cumin until mixed.
  3. Use a burger press to form patties: fill halfway with turkey mixture, create a well, add cheese filling, then cover with more turkey mixture and seal.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and brush burgers with olive oil.
  5. Grill each burger for about 7 to 8 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 165ºF.
