  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (for boiling water)

Instructions

  1. Season sliced chicken with spices and sear in olive oil until fully cooked.
  2. Cook linguine in salted water until al dente; reserve pasta water before draining.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic before adding mustard, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and parsley.
  4. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce; add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
  5. Combine sliced chicken with pasta and sauce; serve garnished with parsley.
