  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest (from 1 lime)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (from that same lime)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ bunch cilantro, finely chopped
  • 3 cups finely shredded green cabbage
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (from 1 whole lime)
  • Avocado, sliced
  • 8 6-inch tortillas (corn or flour, your preference)
  • Extra lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and chili powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet.
  3. Cook the shrimp for about 4-5 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Stir occasionally.
  4. Once cooked, remove the skillet from heat. Stir in butter, lime zest, lime juice, honey, and chopped cilantro until well combined.
  5. In another mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage with chopped cilantro. Add Greek yogurt and lime juice; mix thoroughly until all ingredients are coated.
  6. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  7. Place some creamy slaw on each tortilla. Top with flavorful cilantro lime shrimp and sliced avocado.
  8. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges on the side for squeezing!
