Ingredients

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in the cooked turkey bacon and then add beef broth, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if desired.
  4. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
  5. Stir in the butter until melted for added richness.
  6. Serve hot in bowls.
